Alison has held academic positions at 3 universities in Australia and conducted clinical practice in speech pathology for over 20 years. She is an award-winning lecturer and has presented much of her work internationally.
In the early 2000s she was a visiting professor at Gothenburg University in Sweden. More recently she has volunteered for several years with Trinh Foundation Australia to establish speech therapy in Vietnam.
Memberships & Associations
Alison is a keen musician and singer, and her major interest in speech pathology is the voice. She is a member of the Australian Voice Association, The Voice Foundation and The Australasian Laryngology Society.
She now conducts clinical practice in the Albury-Wodonga region and North East Victoria.

In 2008 Alison established a coaching practice focusing on personal communication improvement, utilising mindfulness, cognitive techniques and other tools.She has a special interest in applied linguistics and speaks French.
